Typhoon

Why gets wind so wild?

Web-pages built for people - not for profit
Education is Powerful!!

How much can we learn if we listen...
Definition Typhoon, Cyclone:
Storm with violent winds
Tropical cyclone in the Caribbean
Typhoon in Asia
Also called: tornado - gale - tempest - hurricane - whirlwind
Winds of force 12 on Beaufort scale + exceeding 64 knots or 74 mph

Definition blizzard: A violent snowstorm with winds blowing above 35 miles = 56 km per hour and visibility of less than 440 yards = 400 m
A typhoon is a mature tropical cyclone that develops in the Northwestern Pacific Basin
During known Earth history only in 2005 humans had to face more than two Category 5 Atlantic storms
During known Earth history only in 2007 more than one Atlantic hurricane made landfall at Category 5 strength

Very strong Atlantic hurricanes that have reached category 5 intensity on more than one occasion:
Allen, Andrew, Isabel, Ivan, Dean, Felix

Hurricane Emilia 1994 in the Pacific and 2006's Hurricane Ike have reached Category 5 intensity more than once
The strongest of these storms was Typhoon Tip in 1979. Tip set a world-record minimum pressure of 870 hPa (mbar; 25.69 inHg)
The terminology for tropical cyclones differs from one region to another
Among the strongest typhoons were:
Ioke 2006
Rick 2009
Celia 2010
Marie 2014
Patricia 2015
2016 Hurricane Matthew was an extremely destructive and long-lived tropical cyclone
2017 Hurricane Harvey, the most expensive flooding in American history
2018 Hurricane Florence with huge water damage to the East coast of the US
2018 Typhoon Mangkhut
Damage assessments are underway in the Philippines and Hong Kong following Super Typhoon Mangkhut, the category 5 storm that hit Asia in September 2018. The typhoon, known as Typhoon Ompong in the Philippines, packed destructive winds and torrential rain as it cut across northern Luzon. Dozens of people lost their lives after heavy rains triggered landslides. Ninety-six Latter-day Saint chapels in the affected areas of the Philippines sheltered more than 4,000 members and friends of the Church during the typhoon where they received food and water. In Hong Kong, members and more than 100 volunteers have been working to help clean debris in the community. High wind smashed windows in the city, tearing off parts of buildings and roofs, while the storm surge flooded hotels and restaurants. Eight meetinghouses received minor flooding along with landscape damage. The Hong Kong China Temple received minor landscape damage but has reopened. Miraculously no lives were lost though a few hundred were injured and some were displaced. Typhoons are caused by very different temperatures in Earth's atmosphere. Charts show the rising temperatures on Earth in the last decades. New CO2 Milestone: Many months Above 400 PPM. Update your knowledge with our typhoon tornado info

What is a hurricane?hurricanes intensify with climate change, endangering many species, humans, wildlife, plants. Hurricane Irene has cause a lot of damage. High emission industry, high energy demand, low education levels resulting in violent hurricanes, tornadoes, blizzards, high damage from storms. Earth's environment: Home planet Earth with global issues. No borders for water contamination, no border for greenhouse gases. Global air pollution. Energy waste globally. To keep Earth beautiful We offer solutions relying on more nature conservation, more soil conservation, global energy conservation. Keep nature beautiful with Nature conservation, reduce air pollution, climate change, increase recycling, ocean conservation, Water conservation, protection of all life, flora + fauna on Earth = human protection. Nature conservation keeps Earth beautiful. Earth is endangered by pollution worldwide. Polluted air, polluted water, polluted soil, contaminated food endangers life. As long as Earth has existed, storms, typhoons were speeding over the Earth surface. Humans need Nature conservation to stay healthy, protected from chemical pollution. Bear Springs Blossom research published in these news helps to keep Nature beautiful + to secure our future! Reducing air pollution to reduce hurricanes, snow storms, blizzards, tornadoes. Online distance learning Global issue Storms, hurricanes, typhoons: Powerful storms harm many people. Changing climate patterns will destroy more properties, will kill more people. United States founding fathers did everything to guarantee individual freedom. Understanding of natural connections lead to more freedom, but often personal freedom does harm other people. The exuberant use of fossil fuels lead to more storms, hurricanes and typhoon, resulting in a lot of harm to earth citizens. Understanding of natural connections would lead to more freedom. Nature conservation is the only affordable solution to violent weather, hurricanes, storms, floods from typhoons, how to have a better life!
A hurricane is a type of tropical cyclone. A low pressure system forms in the tropics, moving westward. The cyclone is accompanied by thunderstorms.
In the Northern Hemisphere, these storms have a counterclockwise circulation of winds near the earth's surface.
In the Southern Hemisphere, these storms have a clockwise circulation.
The ingredients for a hurricane include a pre-existing weather disturbance, warm tropical oceans, moisture, and relatively light winds aloft.
If the right conditions persist long enough, they can combine to produce violent winds, incredible waves, torrential rains, and floods.

Our weather is changed by highs and lows. typhoons intensify with climate change, endanger many species, humans, wildlife, plants. Updated nature education explains why nature conservation is so important for Earth's natural environment
Many tropical storms develop over the Atlantic, Pacific, Indian Ocean every year.
Warm water fuels these storms.
Many storms remain over the ocean and have no direct impact to coastlines.
But often these storms become typhoons, killing many people.
Sometimes, these storms become "major" or "intense" typhoons.
Then scientists tell us about a category 3 or higher storm.
The phrase Tropical Depression is used for an organized system of clouds and thunderstorms with a defined surface circulation and maximum sustained winds of 38 mph (33 kt) or less
The phrase Tropical Storm is used for an organized system of strong thunderstorms with a defined surface circulation and maximum sustained winds of 39-73 mph (34-63 kt)
The phrase typhoon is used for an intense tropical weather system of strong thunderstorms with a well-defined surface circulation and maximum sustained winds of 74 mph (64 kt) or higher

The Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Scale is used to categorize the different strength of a storm. A Category 1 storm has the lowest wind speeds, while a Category 5 hurricane has the strongest.

Meteorologists like to name typhoons.
Names are used, when wind speeds reach 39 mph = 34 kts
hurricanes intensify with climate change, endanger many species, humans, wildlife, plants. Updated nature education explains why nature conservation is so important for Earth's natural environment
What we can do is to use far less dirty energy overall:
less energy from fossil fuels,
less energy waste, more energy conservation, more efficiency!
Better transportation, environmentally manufacturing, better food production, more electricity from solar, wind, the ocean tides.

Conservation education online: hurricanes graphic shows how a tornado comes to life. Greenhouse gases intensify climate change. Updated nature education explains why nature conservation is so important for Earth's natural environment, lo provide solutions to global warming and climate change
Where does a typhoon gets its energy from?
Typhoons take energy from the ocean, sucking up warm, moist tropical air from the surface, dispensing cooler air aloft.
Humans breath in + out, typhoons do that too
Typhoons get stronger until this "breathing" is disrupted, for example when warm water is missing over land
No warm water, no more power to the typhoon!
A) Many nations, many people, don't have the knowledge to understand the problem of burning fossil fuels!
People change their behavior when energy costs more
We need to reduce the fossil fuel subsidies!!
The money should be used to finance solutions to normalize weather patterns!

America schools offer environmental education, but many do not believe in man-made changes - - In Great Britain England people see the changes happening to their country, but there are only a few who explain how earth works - - Canada is a country full of potential. With a good education system, but conservation education is still missing. We need more help of the local people to keep Canada beautiful

引述大自然

Spain offers little to inform people how to keep earth beautiful - - flag of Mexico waiving - - flag of Argentina with the sun in the middle, Sun of May representation of the Inca sun god Inti

Indonesia cuts down a lot of trees. Missing nature conservation education leads to deforestation, water contamination, erosion problems because of deforestation, endangering marine life and humans. We need the help of the Indonesian people to keep Indonesia beautiful - - China has a growing population, more energy, more food, keeping china beautiful is low on the to do list - - - India is a country full of potential. With a better education system and less corruption India could become number 1 in Asia. We need the help of the local people to keep India beautiful - - - German schools offer conservation education, but a lot of people are too busy to learn new things, do not think about to keep Germany beautiful
